The Top 5 Hosting Companies

Finding the right hosting company can be challenging at the best of times. Many have terrible customer support but cheap prices whilst some have great customer support but terrible site functionality which can make it tough to find a web hosting company with just the right balance across the boards.

In this article we aim to assist you with our list of the top 5 tried and tested hosting companies, we’ve done the hard work so you don’t have to along with honest, impartial reviews of all 5 hosting companies:

1. Blue Host

I am very grateful to have finally switched to BlueHost, a company that values its customers. Their telephone support, especially, has been excellent. & in switching to BlueHost I needed a good bit of hand holding to recreate my site with them. Their tech support personnel is very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very, very patient.

2. GoDaddy

Most of my business is online so selecting a domain, hosting, ssl certifiicates, domain security, etc which is required to keep my business going was a very tough job. I found all my online requirements on GoDaddy.com . First I purchased my domain name and I was so impressed by their interface and support that I decided to buy other services from GoDaddy. The prices are extermely reasonable and the quality of service they provide is simply amazing. I never worry about my online identity security as I use GoDaddy services. I would recommend GoDaddy.com to others.
Purely for domain names, Godaddy are hands down the cheapest on the internet.

3. Domain.com

I have been with domain.com for years and have stayed with them as I find it very easy to set up domains and love their live chat. The customer support is great. You are never waiting for more than a few minutes for any questions to be replied to and there are very few bugs which make for nice, smooth operation.

4. Easyspace.com

Easyspace can offer it all: domain names, email services, web design, website building and hosting. The Easyspace website builder is based on HTML, and comes free with all web hosting packs. It’s not the cheapest, but in recent years Easyspace has built a good reputation for support.
I really like Easyspace and their site builder is very decent. It’s been around for years, and they make it easy to buy. There is great support and I think that accounts for a lot these days. I’d recommend them purely for that if nothing else.

5. 1and1.com

1and1 customer service is the best I have come across in any organisation. They answer the phone, are knowledgeable and take your issue seriously. They respond to emails quickly and have a clear and transparent billing process.
The hosting itself is the best I have ever come across. The range of features, free software and services is unbeatable. The uptime is faultless and server speed is fast, even if you have a really basic account. I particularly love the fact that you can easily manage multiple domains from one control panel on a shared file system.
I have been with them for 14 months while my business has expanded and their service has been flawless throughout.
